Research- A key direction of all this work is the integration of geology and geophysics and the transfer of knowledge, technology and ideas between hard rock and soft rock areas, and understanding active tectonic processes in order to constrain interpretation of structural histories in older, deformed rocks.
- Key areas of research are the Palaeozoic basins of northern and western Tasmania, the Cretaceous-Tertiary Otway Basin of western Victoria and the late Tertiary basins of the southern North Island, New Zealand
