Doctoral graduate wins 2002 Mollie Holman Medal

School of Geosciences doctoral graduate, Dr. Catherine Spaggiari has been awarded the 2002 Mollie Holman Medal (Science) for her thesis entitled "Structural, metamorphic, and tectonic evolution of Cambrian ophiolites, Lachlan Orogen, southeastern Australia". Only 10 medals are awarded by Monash each year, and only one for Sciences. Catherine is now a Research Scholar in the Department of Geological Sciences, University of Florida, researching the tectonic history of the east Gondwana margin (including Antarctica).
