Honours and Masters Preliminary in Geosciences

The Honours program represents the transition between undergraduate teaching and research-based learning. It is an ideal transition to research careers and represents the prerequisite qualification to professional careers in Geosciences. The Honours program in Geosciences is diverse and covers all major sub disciplines, including geophysics, mainstream geology, and environmental geosciences. Our Honours graduates are sought after by industry and government agencies and many continue to Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) studies and build research careers. 

MSc Preliminary is an alternative to Honours that provides and entry to a research Masters of Science (MSc) degree in year 5.
